A film your
guests make
for you
The wedding day is happening all around you, and you cannot be in two places at once. You can only talk to so many people in one day. While you are out getting your photos and videos taken, the pre reception is already in full swing without you. Glasses up, stories starting, everyone you love in one room saying things you will never hear.
Picture granny, married for 40 years, sharing the one piece of advice that actually carried her marriage. She said it during cocktail hour, to no one in particular, and by the first dance it was gone. That is the kind of thing this film keeps.
For your guests, it is a time capsule. A few minutes to share the thing only they can share. An insider joke no one else would get. A story they have never told you. Advice, a memory, a toast they never got the mic for, whatever is in their heart to say to you both. We ask them for you, on camera, while it is all still fresh, and cut every conversation into one film you can go back and watch for years.
Our Services
One film, built your way
Start with Room Tone, our core guest interview film. Add only the moments you want kept. Five choices, nothing extra to weigh up. Tap any row for the full detail.
In sound design, room tone is the recorded ambient sound of a room. The sound of the room itself, its atmosphere and voices, kept. That is exactly what this film is. The laughter, the stories, the feeling in the room on your day, kept in your guests own voices.
We work the reception with a two person team, a host and a camera operator, interviewing your guests through the afternoon and evening. Family and the wedding party first, then everyone who wants a turn. Their stories, jokes, advice and messages, captured before they disappear when the day ends.
- ·Hosted reception guest interviews, guided by prompts, never scripts
- ·Two person team with professional camera and audio
- ·Up to 4 hours on site
- ·A fully edited film, usually 30 to 45 minutes, delivered ready to watch and share
- ·1 revision round included
The nerves, the excitement and the quiet thoughts before any of it begins. We arrive before the ceremony and sit down with you, your parents and your wedding party for the messages they want you to hear, captured before the day can blur them.
The formal words, kept properly. We film the agreed speeches cleanly with professional camera and audio, and we keep the reactions too. The laughter, the applause, the tears, and the feeling in the room while they are happening.
The later, looser and funnier side of the film. Once the formalities are done and the dancefloor is going, usually around 9pm, guests relax. What they say gets more honest, more heartfelt and a lot more entertaining.
The strongest moments from the interviews, cut for sharing. The funniest line, the advice that lands, the toast in miniature, ready to send to the guests who star in them or post the next morning.
Travel. The first 50 miles from our Central Florida base are free. Beyond 50 miles, a travel fee applies and is quoted with your booking. Miami, for example, would carry one.
Priority Delivery, +$350. Your film in 10 days instead of the standard 4 weeks.
Private Use Only, +30%. Nothing from your day is shared, posted or shown by us, anywhere. Your film stays yours alone.
Founding weddings. The Guest Mic is new, and the first five couples book Room Tone at $895 while we make our first films. Same film, same team, same care.

Why Guests
Three reasons it stays with you
You hear what you missed
You cannot be everywhere at once, and you can only talk to so many people in one day. This keeps what was said at the other tables, at the bar, out on the terrace, while you were busy living the day.
No other wedding could make it
Every answer comes from your people. An insider joke only your college friends would make. A story about how you met that you have never heard told that way. A toast from someone who never got the mic at dinner.
Voices outlast everything
Years from now, it is the voices you will replay. Granny after 40 years of marriage, telling you what actually lasts. A best friend laughing mid sentence. A father trying not to cry. Press play and you are back in that room.
Questions
Asked at every first call
No, and that is the point. The Guest Mic is a hosted guest interview film. It is about the people at your wedding, and it sits alongside your photographer and videographer, never instead of them.
Ceremony filming is not the focus. Our work is the guest interviews during cocktail hour and the reception. The Before the Day and Speeches add ons cover the moments around it.
Most Room Tone films run 30 to 45 minutes, depending on how many guests we interview and how the day flows. Evening Session films usually run 45 to 60 minutes.
Nothing at all. The host guides every interview with prompts and conversation, a few minutes at a time. The only job your guests have is to be themselves.
Yes. The Social Pack add on cuts the best moments into 5 vertical clips, captioned and ready for Instagram, TikTok and Stories.
We are based in Central Florida and film across the region, Orlando, Tampa and everywhere in between. The first 50 miles are free. Beyond 50 miles, a travel fee applies and is quoted with your booking. Miami, for example, would carry one.
Room Tone is $1,495, and the first five weddings book at the founding price of $895. Add ons are priced individually above. Booking takes a 50% retainer upfront, with the balance due 30 days before the wedding, and 1 revision round is included.

guests make
for you
You are hosting, which means you are everywhere and nowhere at once. Greeting at the door, fixing the music, topping up drinks, posing for photos. Meanwhile the best of the night is happening in the corners you cannot reach. A story at the bar. Old friends finding each other again. The reaction you planned the whole night for, happening while your back was turned.
We work the room for you. A host and a camera operator, moving through the party with a wireless mic, giving your guests a few minutes to say the thing only they can say. A memory, a joke, a thank you, a toast that was never on the programme. Cut together, it becomes a time capsule of the night, in the voices of the people who made it.
For birthdays, anniversaries, launches and every kind of celebration in between. Part film, part guestbook, part entertainment on the night itself.
What Is It
The night, in their words
A hosted guest interview film for events, parties, launches, birthdays, anniversaries, brand nights, private dinners and celebrations. We arrive with a two person team, set up discreetly, and interview guests through the event, capturing reactions, stories, memories and messages that would otherwise be gone by morning.
Our Services
Choose your kind of night
Every event is quoted individually, based on the night, the guest count and the coverage you want. No set prices here. Tap any row for the full detail, then talk to us for a custom quote.
Our signature guest interview film, made for private celebrations. The birthday speech that never happened. The anniversary story only your parents could tell. The retirement message from a colleague of thirty years. We interview your guests through the afternoon or evening and keep all of it.
Perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, engagement parties, retirement parties, private dinners, family celebrations and milestone events.
The best of the night, cut for sharing. The funniest reaction, the heartfelt message, the moment everyone will talk about, ready to send to guests or post the next day.
A guest interview film for brands that want more than a recap. We interview guests, clients, customers, creators, staff and founders on the night, capturing real reactions, testimonials and social proof while the feeling is still fresh, not in a follow up survey weeks later.
Built for launches, PR nights, creator events and corporate celebrations.
Short form brand content from the strongest moments of the night. Guest reactions, testimonials, founder moments and customer comments, cut for the feeds where your audience actually is.
A bigger idea, a longer night, or something that does not fit the rows above. Multi day events, destination parties, larger crews and bespoke coverage are all quoted from scratch, around what you actually need.
Why Guests
Three reasons hosts book it
You hear the whole room
A host cannot be in every conversation. This keeps the stories, reactions and laughter happening across the room while you were busy holding the night together.
No other night could make it
Every answer comes from your people on your night. Old friends, family, customers, your team. Funny, heartfelt and completely specific to who was in that room.
More than a recap
The venue and the styling fade into photos. The voices are what bring the night back. For brands, they are also proof. For hosts, they are the keepsake.

A small studio with one idea: the guests are part of the story.
Why This Exists
Honestly, this was not our idea. Someone sent us a guest interview film from the UK in a DM, and the second we saw it we thought, this is fire. Why is this not a thing everywhere? We did not start it. But once you see it, you cannot unsee it, so we decided to bring it to the States, to Florida.
Think about a wedding day. The planner has you moving from one moment to the next. You are worried about your makeup, your dress, the rings not getting lost, the guests arriving, the food being up to par, and the weather holding. So much is on your mind at once, and those 24 hours run so fast. You cannot keep track of everything, and you cannot be with everybody at all times. Meanwhile, everyone you love is in one room together, saying things you will never hear.
We are videographers. We have captured weddings and we have captured events. The videographers and photographers who work a wedding day do excellent and important work, and the wedding film and the photography matter. We are not here to replace the wedding film or the photography. We are here to capture another element that is already there, the people in the room. It is always beautiful to give those people a voice that lasts longer than just that night.
When you drafted your guest list, every person on it was chosen for a reason. That is what we want to capture. Think of it like a photo booth on another level: more intimate, something you can share, and a time capsule of the day. The format is simple: one host, one camera operator, a wireless mic, and a room full of people who know you best. It captures what the room felt like, not just what it looked like.
Twenty or thirty years from now, you will watch your wedding film and see how young and beautiful you were. This film sits beside it. You will hear the voices of the people who were there, including some who may not be there anymore. You will hear the kids who left you a message, now grown up, and one day they may hear your message back at their own wedding. Those voices are kept.
Our hope is simple: that people cherish it, that it grows, and that it is fun. We hope it opens people up, adds to the experience of the day, and makes it even more memorable. Not just for weddings, but for any event where the people in the room are the whole point.
The Guest Mic is based in Central Florida and is now booking its first season, including five founding weddings at a reduced price while the first films are made.

Policy
The short version, in plain English. Full terms are below.
Booking is simple on purpose. A retainer holds your date, the balance lands a month before the day, and your files are handled with care and then let go on a clear schedule.
A 50% retainer confirms your date. Until the retainer is paid, the date stays open to other couples. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the wedding day.
Prices are the ones listed on the Weddings page at the time you book. Founding pricing applies to the first five weddings only, at $895 for Room Tone against the standard $1,495.
Standard delivery is 4 weeks from the wedding day. Priority Delivery, when added, brings that to 10 days.
Full films, Room Tone and Evening Session, are delivered through a private Vidflow gallery, with 2 years of access and downloads included. Social clips ordered on their own are delivered through a private Vimeo link.
Every booking includes 1 revision round on the finished film. Tell us what you would like adjusted in one message and we will make those changes once, carefully.
Unless you choose Private Use Only (+30%), short clips from your day may be shared by The Guest Mic to show future couples what the format feels like. With Private Use Only, nothing from your wedding is shared, posted or shown by us, anywhere, ever.
Plans change, and we will always try to move with yours first. If your date moves and we are free on the new date, your retainer moves with it.
If the wedding is cancelled, the retainer covers the date we held for you and the work already done. Anything beyond that is handled case by case, in writing, and always in plain English. Email hello@theguestmic.com and we will talk it through.
